London

Mayfair Property

Traditionally bordered by Hyde Park to the west, Oxford Street to the north, Piccadilly to the south and Regent street to the east. The Duke of Westminster, head of the Grosvenor family, the Rothchilds and the Crown Estate own large chunks of freehold buildings within the area.

Despite the impending move from Grosvenor Square by the US Embassy, Mayfair has become an attractive location away from the City of London for private banks, hedge funds and wealth managers.

Other attractions include Hyde Park to the west and Green Park to the south, extensive shopping especially around Oxford Street and Bond Street and the infamous nightlife of Soho to the east. Buyers are often International but many recent buyers have come from Russia.
