This is geographically a large area and needs to be divided up. Close to the river Thames are the modern riverside developments which in many cases have only just been completed. Next to this is Wandsworth Town and the “Tonsleys” which is a small enclave of terraced housing built on a slope.
South of East Hill the properties are more substantial while the other side of Trinity Road, off St John’s Hill it is still possible to buy a reasonably price flat or small house. Trinity Road separates Earlsfield and those houses to the east of Wandsworth Common.
Both areas are popular with UK families and just opposite Magdalen Road are a collection of roads known as the “Toastrack” and these are also exceptionally popular. Wandsworth Common train station has a fast service into Victoria. Wandsworth Common and Bellevue Road remain popular with predominantly UK based families.
