The area is normally considered to be bounded by St James’s Park and Buckingham Palace to the north, Victoria station to the west, Vauxhall Bridge Road to the south and the river Thames to the east.

From a property investment point of view Westminster has traditionally been cheaper than both Pimlico and Chelsea and is ideal for those working in the political arena in the UK, who may want a small pied-a-terre. It is not as “residential” as its neighbours so prices have not shot up to the same extent.
