The Country

East Sussex Property

Considerably more affordable than its immediate neighbour to the west, East Sussex in the north of the county is dominated by the Weald and Bewl Water, where the charming “village” of Wadhurst is located. Many of the older houses are 16th and 17th Century cottages with low beams and are often listed. Further south towards Lewes, there are beautiful villages, rolling woodland and countryside. Brighton is more fashionable than it has been at any time since its Regency heyday, with the best properties commanding premium prices, particularly along the seafront.
