The Country

Hampshire Property

Hampshire offers a rich variety of unspoilt countryside including the famed ancient royal hunting ground of the New Forest, as well as awe-inspiring coastlines with sailing, historic towns, and some of England’s most picturesque villages. Further east towards Aldershot, the county is more urban. Farmhouses on the Downs in North Hampshire’s officially designated Area Of Natural Beauty are highly sought-after, as are detached homes with river access in Beaulieu. Among the educational attractions of the county, the highly respected Winchester College, founded in 1382, is believed to be the oldest school in the UK.
