This ancient and beautiful county is where England’s West Country begins, yet it is sufficiently well-linked with London to enable a daily commute. Its rolling downs dotted with ‘white horses’ cut into the chalk, Wiltshire has at its heart the medieval cathedral city of Salisbury. London by road:

The M4 motorway is accessed fom Chippenham and Marlborough in the north, and wherever you are in the county you are only minutes away from the M4, M3 or M5. The A303 also provides the link to the M3.

London by rail:

Regular, fast and reliable mainline services operate via several routes into Paddington and Waterloo. Plans are afoot to electrify the Waterloo line, further cutting travel time.

Airports:

Heathrow, Gatwick, Bristol, Cardiff, Bournemouth, Southampton and Exeter airports are within easy reach.
